About Alexander Höller.
Alexander Höller was born on August 8, 1996 in Schweinfurt and currently lives in Munich. Already as a child he painted stones from his parents’ garden and sold them for one euro. At 17, he left high school a year before graduation to devote himself entirely to painting. “I dropped out of school not to ‘become’ an artist, but to ‘be’ an artist”, he says today.
Because he was still too young, Alexander Höller attended the private academy “Freie Kunstwerkstatt” in Munich for a year. Finally, he was accepted as a student at the Academy of Fine Arts in Nuremberg for the winter semester of 2015 – without a high school diploma. There he studied with Professor Thomas Hartmann, among others. In October 2018, he moved to the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich, one of the most important and oldest art academies in Germany. He received his diploma there in February 2020. Already during his studies his pictures were shown in numerous free exhibitions in Nuremberg, Regensburg, Karlsruhe and others. In the meantime, art metropolises such as Munich, Vienna, Berlin, Aspen and Miami have been added.
